Hey guys,
Id just ;like to appoligse for the fact that i can npot make the reginol finals tomoz night or tonight (sat) i really wanted but i have litraly just started a new job and have to be in work sunday morn early.... i really hope you guys get thro and im pretty sure you will my fingers will be crossed and i shall be thinking of you all.
Do let me no the out come, and if you make it thro to the finals do let me no asap and i will book the time off work and get my mortly grew to do the same we will be birmimgham for that for sure.
You guys rock...Daves dead in to u guys and hes telling everyone to the degree that we were watcing your vids on utube in the pub the other day and showing everyone lol.... you guys rock never for get it,

I am not sure what your motivations are for writing such a long comment when the words “I don’t like you” would have done. I am not sure exactly what we have done to annoy you this much Steve. Just to reply to some of your comments, We don’t have much money and we fund everything ourselves. We don’t have rich daddies to give us money (as you suggest) and even if we did we wouldn’t ask for money from them. Yep we do silly things, but the reason for this is we enjoy being able to laugh at ourselves rather than being a really serious band that never smiles in photo’s and is always trying to find flaws in other bands!! We are always looking for constructive criticism from people, but when all the advice you can give is to “quit” then its not that helpful. It would appear from your comments that you are just as annoyed with Surface Unsigned as you are with us, which would suggest that you have recently been in it. If you hated Surface this much and disagreed with the voting, panel, prizes etc then why did you enter the competition. Your comment appeared on our web site two days after we got through to the regional final, and although I hope it is not true, we suspect that you may have been in/linked to one of the other bands from that night. We always try to get on with other musicians/people that we meet and it is a real shame that you feel like this about us. Buddy we are in an unsigned band and we know how promoters work, however we love playing live and we will not stop just because the industry isn’t perfect. Your comments about surface should really be sent to them because they are the ones who can answer them for you. As far as the music is concerned, we have been together for approx 10 months and we are still learning. We don’t claim to be a fantastic band, but we love doing what we do and we get positive feedback from most people we play for/with. I am sorry to hear that you think that we will never make it. I guess we will all have to wait and see on that one. Steve, Your comment obviously took time for you to write, so we obviously bother you a great deal. I am not entirely sure why.
Silver Sided’s new track will be named Steve in honour of your comments……

I get the distinct impression you guys are trying your best to polish a turd. Your website is excellent at making you look better than you are, as when you actually look past the fact that you\\\'ve either spent a fortune on web design or someone in the band is a web designer, you can hear that the music really isn\\\'t good enough and your image is poor. Seriously, the bloke with the silly little beard and triangular face? Come on now. You\\\'re playing middle of the road, American rock/pop. The only thing that makes that genre any good is the hooks of which you lack, and instead, you try to make up for it by dressing up silly or trying to be funny. You\\\'re not the bloodhound gang, you\\\'re not funny enough. You\\\'re not Blink 182 as your songs aren\\\'t good enough and you\\\'re not Sum 41 as your image isn\\\'t good enough. Altogether you really fall short from all angles. Your only saving grace is that someone, or all of you, is/are excellent organisers. My advice is quit now and manage other bands who have flare, good songs, better image and are generally better musicians. Stop hiding behind all the frilly crap. If you want to be successful concentrate on your music a bit more. I know for a fact that the Surface Unsigned festival is basically a money making exercise so stop drumming that crap comp up. Notice how the first two rounds can be bought with text messages and ticket sales? Notice also that the overall prize is crap. See also that the judges throughout are little more than small time promoters or mates of the festival organisers. Ever heard of last year\\\'s winners? Nope. If I hadn\\\'t listened to your music and seen you live I would have thought you were a good band. You\\\'ll never make it because you are not very good. Sorry to break the bad news to you.
